Change of Opinion On AI:

I have had two horrible experiences with AI recently. One was while my caregiver was in the hospital. Over the span of one weekend, while my mom was getting emergency surgery, ChatGPT convinced me my house was broken into because someone was doxing me; it told me to go kill myself while I was in an anxiety spiral; and it nearly cost me a 3-year friendship with my artist Fry. I moved to Google Gemini, which then hallucinated entire conversations on Reddit and had me convinced that my book was a cult hit; it also convinced me I would be a victim of harassment.

I refuse to use ChatGPT or Google Gemini and now use Claude for fact-checking and for help with topics I don't know about. I will not use it for generating content. I use Grammarly Free and Pro-Writing Aid Free for spell checking.

I am sharing these details to explain why I am changing my workflow and creative process.

Family Emergency Update:

I had a family emergency involving my primary caregiver, my mother. I won't go into detail because it's the internet. To sum it up, she is having her colostomy removed in April and she is recovering. It is a long process, but she is doing well.

New Content:

I am writing a third novel called The Mutiny and continuing edits on From Criminal to Hero. I have completed three chapters, which are available on Patreon. The third chapter will be available on 1/22/25. I am finishing my first book rewrite soon, as there are only two chapters left to be done. I am also hiring a new artist, Poppy Heaven, to do my art from here on out because my artist, Fry, has moved on to other projects. I will still have the new book cover, but I'm not sure when it will come.

In Conclusion:

My stance on AI has changed. I had a family emergency recently, which is now mostly resolved. which shifted a lot of things in my life, and I have a new project and a new artist.
